Not an official forecast

Landfall puts official forecasts and maps together for your address and adds its own estimates: the wind at your home, how long the storm lasts there, and your chance of flooding. Those estimates can be wrong. Forecasts change with every advisory, and conditions at your home can be worse than any forecast.

Evacuation orders and instructions from your local officials always come first. For official information, go to the National Hurricane Center, your local National Weather Service office and your county emergency management office. In an emergency, call 911.

Using Landfall

Landfall is free to use. It's provided as is, without any warranty, and we aren't liable for decisions made with it or for losses that follow. Please don't scrape it or send automated traffic; it relies on public services that need to stay available to everyone during a storm.

We may change or stop the service, or these terms, at any time. The date above shows the latest change.

Where the data comes from

NOAA, NWS, FEMA and USGS data are public. None of these agencies made, reviewed or endorse Landfall.
